"Flavio Zanuttini is not new to the solo instrumental music: we find him here with his trumpet – of which he is a virtuoso – and with his compositional ideas, always advanced and adventurous. In addition to the plant, the title refers to a poem by Goethe which is entitled "Ginkgo Biloba", obviously inspired by the plant, just as the disc is itself inspired by the concepts expressed by Goethe. There is dualism, but there is also the dualism that coexists with uniqueness. On a purely musical level, in this music Flavio tries, with success, to make timbre research and canonical musical parameters coexist (melody, harmony and rhythm). It can be seen as a path of reconciliation, a path of growth, a return enriched by a journey." - Stefano Giust - setola di maiale
